The large-scale application of power lithium batteries has accelerated the generation of waste batteries. It is expected that the amount of production waste from waste batteries and scrapped batteries will increase at a compound annual growth rate of 43% in the next 10 years, promoting the rapid development of the global lithium battery recycling market.
In the future, lithium iron phosphate batteries may account for more than 70% of lithium batteries
China's new energy vehicle power battery installed capacity is growing rapidly. Build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system; in 2023, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in my country will be around 36%.
Lithium iron phosphate batteries continue to improve
Starting from 2021, lithium iron phosphate batteries will gradually occupy a dominant position; in 2023, they will account for nearly 70%, and will grow further in the future.
In the future, battery waste recycling will be mainly lithium iron phosphate. According to media estimates, by 2028, the recycling volume of lithium iron phosphate is expected to be around 1.74 million tons. Existing solutions in the industry: wet recovery rate > 99%, repair & recovery rate < 1%
